Korola kalibari also called as siddheswari Kali is one of the most peaceful temple situated at korola village in Bandel in Hooghly district near to the Saraswati River and near to Triveni Sangam. 




About the Temple:


As per the local people, this is more than 400 years old and was initially started by the leader of local decoits. Their leader was guided by ma Kali in his dream and from the big pond beside the temple he got the original stone idol to be worshipped. The present big idol was made latter. Ma korola kali is Dakshina kali.


At present, the worship is done by two families of priests. They are "borobari" and "chhotobari".

How to go Korola kali bari:





The nearest railway station is Bandel Junction which is well connected with Howrah(direct main line) and Sealdah (through Naihati).


From Bandel railway station around 3 kilometers and takes 10 minutes to go. You will find Toto Van or Rickshaw.


You Take G.T.Road towards Rajhat More (Delhi Road) there is a bridge called "Holud Pool" just after that  Korola More. As a landmark, you will find plants and flowers nursery named "Kishalay Nursery " near to the temple.

7am to 1pm (morning)


4pm to 8pm (evening)

Best time to visit:


Anytime throughout the year, you can visit. But Tuesday and Saturday are the most auspicious day to pray for ma Kali.


During the rainy season, you may find difficulty to go through the muddy village road.

Still, Now there is no restriction for photography. But you must maintain the silence and respect the temple premises.
